The Hunt Club

The Hunt Club in Oregon is located east of the bridge in Oregon, IL; a town where Matt is very familiar.  He grew up flipping burgers down the road at Jay’s Drive-In working for his dad, Joe, and learning a work ethic I use today.

This location went for sale in the Spring of 2018 and I wanted nothing to do with it.  Well, my wife had different plans and made me take a second look.  Today it is a hunting-themed dive bar filled with deadheads and camouflage; and no, I don’t hunt.  The theme of this bar was inspired by my buddies that spend countless hours in tree stands and tell me how fun it is.

It sells hundreds of Hunt Club smash burgers and Busch Light every week while bringing friends and family together after local events in town.  This bar is 10 minutes from The Cave and Idle Hour, a perfect way to spend a rainy day bar hopping and checking out all 3!
